Both services have API and MCP access. Social Fanout accepts multiple targets in one request and offers self-hosting or hosted white-label by written agreement. Blotato’s documented publish endpoint selects one account and platform; API access requires a paid plan.

When Blotato fits
You want content created for you with AI, polished video publishing, and no-code automations through n8n or Make — without standing up a backend. Social Fanout deliberately doesn’t generate content and isn’t a no-code app; it’s infrastructure. For a solo creator or small agency, Blotato is the more complete out-of-the-box product.
You can create content in another tool, then submit it to Social Fanout when publishing belongs inside your software. Validate the exact connected accounts and inspect each destination’s result before retrying.
